The Science

We explain. You decide.

No hype, no miracle claims. Just the mechanisms behind each ingredient, the standards we hold ourselves to, and an honest account of what these things can — and can't — do.

“Nature already did the hard part. Our only job is to deliver it honestly — the right compound, the full dose, nothing hidden.”

How we make supplements differently

Standards most brands skip.

The supplement industry runs on hidden doses and cheap filler. We built the opposite. These aren't features — they're the baseline you deserve.

01

Full dose on the label

The exact amount of every active is printed where you can see it. If a brand hides the dose behind a “proprietary blend,” it's usually because the dose is too small to work.

02

Third-party tested, every batch

Independent labs verify identity, potency and purity — we don't grade our own homework. Every batch carries a certificate of analysis.

03

Fruiting body, not mycelium

For our mushrooms, the actives live in the fruiting body. Cheap products use mycelium grown on grain, which dilutes the compounds with starch. We don't.

04

Single-origin, no blends

One clearly-sourced ingredient, dosed to match the research — not a long list of under-dosed extras designed to look impressive on a label.

How these compounds actually work

The mechanisms, in plain language.

Every ingredient we carry has a known biological pathway. Here's what each one does in the body — described honestly, the way the research frames it.

The Mind

Nerve growth factor

Lion's Mane · hericenones, erinacines

Lion's Mane contains compounds that research suggests can encourage your brain's own production of NGF — nerve growth factor, the protein neurons use to repair, grow and form new connections. The mushroom doesn't add anything foreign; it supports a process your body already runs.

What to expect: subtle clarity in week 1–2, cleaner focus and recall building over 4–8 weeks of daily use. Not a stimulant — nothing to feel in an hour.

Cellular Energy & Aging

The NAD+ pathway

NMN · NAD+ · Shilajit

NAD+ is a coenzyme every cell uses to make energy and repair its DNA. It declines as you age. NMN is a direct precursor your cells convert into NAD+; NAD+ supplies the molecule itself; fulvic acid in Shilajit supports the mitochondria that spend it. Together they support the machinery underneath energy and longevity.

What to expect: steadier energy and recovery over weeks; the longevity effects are quiet and compounding, not something you feel as a buzz.

The Stress System

The cortisol axis

Ashwagandha · Reishi

Your HPA axis governs cortisol, the stress hormone that — chronically elevated — steals focus and sleep. Ashwagandha's withanolides help modulate that axis; Reishi's triterpenes support the parasympathetic “rest and recover” state. The goal isn't sedation; it's a calmer baseline.

What to expect: easier wind-down and sleep onset early; a measurably calmer, sharper baseline over a few weeks of consistency.

Physical Performance

ATP & oxygen efficiency

Cordyceps

Cordyceps is rich in cordycepin, which research links to greater ATP production in the mitochondria and improved oxygen efficiency in working muscles. The result studied is a higher endurance ceiling — fatigue arriving later — rather than a caffeine-style spike.

What to expect: wider endurance margins and faster between-set recovery, building across training weeks.

Defense

Immune calibration

Chaga · beta-glucans, antioxidants

Chaga's beta-glucans are studied as immune modulators — they help the system respond intelligently rather than bluntly — while one of nature's highest antioxidant loads helps neutralise the free radicals that wear cells down. Calibration, not overstimulation.

What to expect: a lower oxidative and inflammatory baseline built quietly over weeks; nothing dramatic overnight.

Recovery

Deep sleep & autophagy

Reishi · ganoderic acids

Reishi's triterpenes are studied for supporting sleep architecture and a natural evening cortisol decline, while ganoderic acids are linked to autophagy — the cellular self-cleaning that's fundamental to healthy aging. Better nights are where better days are actually built.

What to expect: faster sleep onset and deeper rest early; compounding recovery and calm over time.

The honest part

What supplements can — and can't — do.

We'd rather lose a sale than over-promise. Here's the truth most brands won't print.

What they can do

Support biological processes your body already runs
Multiply the effort you're already putting in
Build a measurably better baseline over weeks
Fill specific, evidence-based gaps

What they can't do

Replace sleep, training, or real food
Work in an hour, or work if you're not consistent
Diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease
Fix a life — they support a person doing the work

Our testing process

How every batch earns the label.

01

Identity

Confirm the ingredient is exactly what it claims to be — the right species, the right part.

02

Potency

Verify the actives are present at the dose printed on the label — no under-filling.

03

Purity

Screen for heavy metals, microbials and contaminants against strict safety limits.

04

Certificate

Each batch ships with an independent certificate of analysis. Nothing hidden.

Now that you know how — choose for yourself.
